Terms of Service

By accessing or using Linearis.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Linearis.ai is a cloud-based platform that provides AI-assisted translation, review, and localization workflow tools for professional documents. The Service is provided "as is" during the beta period and features, pricing, and availability may change.

You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for: • Providing accurate and complete registration information • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activity that occurs under your account • Notifying us immediately at info@linearis.io if you suspect unauthorized access You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts may not be transferred without our written consent.

You agree not to use the Service to: • Upload or process documents containing illegal content or material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models • Perform automated scraping, crawling, or excessive API calls beyond documented rate limits • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law or regulation We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

Linearis.ai and its underlying technology, models, and platform are owned by Linearis Technologies OÜ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of all documents you upload and all translations produced from your documents. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.

We treat uploaded document content as confidential. We will not: • Share your documents with other users or third parties (except sub-processors as described in our Privacy Policy) • Use your document content to train or fine-tune AI models without your explicit written consent • Retain document content beyond 90 days after project closure (unless you choose to extend retention) For Enterprise customers, additional data processing agreements (DPAs) are available on request.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in EUR unless otherwise specified. • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date • Refunds are available within 14 days of initial payment for new subscriptions only • During the beta period, pricing may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers • Failed payments may result in service suspension until the outstanding balance is resolved All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card information.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linearis Technologies OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting info@linearis.io or through your account settings. Upon termination: • Your access to the Service will end immediately • We will delete your document data within 30 days • Any outstanding charges for the current billing period are non-refundable We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law, with or without prior notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory local consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may terminate your account.
